Load Testing and Acceptance of Bailey Steel Bridges

Upon complete erection of the bridge, static and dynamic load tests are conducted. Typically, heavy-duty vehicles such as fully loaded trucks are driven and parked along specified routes to verify whether the deflection, stability, and connection reliability of the bridge meet the design standards. Once the inspection is passed, the bridge is opened for traffic.
