Deformation Control: During the welding of Bailey beams, thermal deformation is controlled by employing symmetrical welding and a rational welding sequence. After welding, hydraulic equipment is used to straighten the components, ensuring that the flatness deviation does not exceed 1/1000.
Strict flaw detection: After each main weld is completed, slag removal is performed to promptly identify any defects. Following completion of all welds, non-destructive testing methods such as ultrasonic or magnetic particle inspection are used to examine both the internal and surface conditions of the welds, checking for cracks, porosity, and other flaws.
