Flat stacking (suitable for special components or space limitations)
Applicable to reinforced chord members, diagonal braces, connectors, and other non-standard or components with unsuitable slenderness ratios.
Method: Place the Bailey sections horizontally (chord members parallel to the ground) and stack them layer by layer.
Requirements:
Use spacers: Spacers must be used between each layer, and they should be aligned up and down to ensure uniform force distribution.
Height limit: Due to poor stability, the number of layers stacked in this way should not be too high, usually no more than 3 layers.
Prevent deformation: Ensure that the components are straight and there is no warping.
