Site and Foundation: The assembly site must be flat and spacious, with an area recommended to be 1.2 to 1.5 times the bridge length. The foundation bearing capacity should not be less than 150 kPa.
Drawings and Plans: Organize technical personnel to review the drawings and prepare a dedicated construction plan.
Materials and Component Inspection: Inspect all incoming components individually. Pay special attention to checking whether Bailey panels are deformed or cracked, assess pin hole wear, and verify the integrity of the galvanized coating (components with more than 5% damage must be replaced). Also inspect bolts for thread damage and conduct torque coefficient tests by batch.
Survey and layout: Establish a precise control network to ensure the bridge axis deviation is within ±10 mm, and the bearing position error does not exceed ±5 mm.
