Pin Connections: The pin connection is the core of the Bailey bridge. The pins must be fully inserted, and the safety pins must be installed immediately afterwards. It is strictly prohibited to omit this step.
Lateral Stability: In rainy or windy weather, or when the launching span is relatively large, guy lines must be set up to prevent the bridge from becoming laterally unstable and tipping over.
Safety First: Unified command is required at the assembly site. Especially during the launching process, personnel are strictly forbidden to stand directly under the bridge or in hazardous areas.
Camber: To counteract the deflection caused by the bridge's own weight and the load, a certain camber is usually set in the middle of the span during assembly.
